Caviro currently boasts 46 Co-operatives including 36 Co-operative wine producers bringing together over 18,000 wine growers across an area of 39.000 hectares, producing 500,000 tonnes of grapes. In addition, Caviro boasts seven wine Co-operatives supplying by-products, two wine producers’ consortiums and two fruit and vegetable Co-operatives.

Today, Caviro enjoys a position of leadership and strength in Italy – with an annual wine production of 184M litres, Caviro is the largest cooperative in Italy.
Our capabilities also extend to distillation, where Caviro is the world co-leader in the production of natural tartaric acid.
Caviro is also a national co-leader in the manufacture of rectified concentrated grape must, and, since 1995 has been using an advanced facility in Europe for the production of compost.
