The Code of Ethics and the Organizational Model of Caviro SCA

Caviro, considering the extent of its activities, decided to adopt an Organization, Management and Control Model that fulfills the purposes and requirements of the Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.

Adopting an Organizational Model is not mandatory by law, but the Cooperative believes that the drafting and the effective implementation of the Model improves its Governance, and that it could represents a powerful tool to raise awareness both for its employees and other stakeholders, so that they follow behaviors inspired by transparency, proper management, trust and cooperation.
The aim of this Model is to systematize in an organic and structured way and to implement – when necessary – the internal control procedures of the different corporate activities of the Company, in order to provide it with the proper instruments for the prevention of crimes.

Our purpose is to raise awareness and disseminate, at all corporate levels, the behavioral rules and the established procedures so that they will be correctly and regularly fulfilled, while also determine the awareness – for all the people who work in the “risk areas” in the name and on behalf of the Company – that violating the provisions contained in the Model constitutes an offence subject to sanctions.

An integral part of the Organizational Model is the Code of Ethics: a document drafted by Caviro Group that expresses the commitments and ethical responsibilities assumed by all its stakeholders for what concerns the conduct of business and corporate activities.
Caviro SCA aims to maintain and develop the relationship of trust with its collaborators – that is, with those categories of individuals, groups or institutions whose contribution is necessary to achieve the corporate mission or that have any interest in its business activities.
The Code of Ethics is based on an ideal of cooperation in mutual respect for the benefit of the parties involved. Caviro SCA  therefore requires that each stakeholder act towards it according to principles and standards inspired by a similar ethical conduct.

This Code of Ethics collects:

• The general principles governing relations with stakeholders, which determine, in an abstract manner, the reference values for CAVIRO SCA’s activities;
• The criteria of conduct in relations with each category of stakeholder, which generate the specific guidelines and standards that CAVIRO SCA collaborators are required to follow in order to comply with the general principles and prevent the risk of unethical forms of behavior;

• The mechanisms of implementation, which form the system of control designed to ensure the observance and the improvement of the Code of Ethics.
