Amarone Bosan Cesari 2016 awarded Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso 2026

Amarone Bosan 2016

We are proud to announce that the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG Bosan 2016 by Cesari has been awarded the Tre Bicchieri in the Vini d’Italia 2026 guide by Gambero Rosso. This recognition adds to the 5 Grappoli Bibenda, 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, and 91 points from Robert Parker, highlighting the excellence we strive for every day.

Bosan embodies the contemporary soul of Valpolicella in a glass. This Amarone, awarded the Tre Bicchieri for the first time, comes from a historic vineyard in Marano, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, at 500 meters above sea level. Here, native grape varieties – Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella – are hand-selected and undergo a long, meticulous drying process to develop intense and complex aromas.

The vineyards, cultivated using the Veronese pergola system on calcareous volcanic soils, benefit from a cool and breezy climate that allows the production of elegant, intense, and long-lived wines. Amarone Bosan thus reflects the passion for the territory and the dedication in both vineyard and cellar, becoming the most authentic expression of Cesari’s production.

“This recognition is imbued with passion, dedication, and a sense of place,” says Giovanni Lai, General Manager of Cesari. “The Tre Bicchieri represent a historic milestone not only for Cesari but for the entire Caviro Group, the result of a collaborative effort that begins in our vineyards and reaches the glass.”

With this award, Amarone Bosan Cesari confirms the vision of Cesari and the Caviro Group, organizations that look to the future by valuing brand identity, sustainability, and innovation, while promoting excellence in winemaking in Valpolicella Classica.
