Christmas in Faenza Lights Up with Caviro Extra

The squares and streets of the town centre brighten up with the many initiatives for children and adults

The squares and the streets of the historic centre in Faenza have brightened up.

Piazza del Popolo displayed the new decorations of planets and shooting stars, “to make a wish” for this challenging 2020.

The Christmas Tree and the Elf Post Box

Following tradition, the Christmas tree – lit up thanks to Caviro Extra – is standing next to the Duomo in Piazza della Libertà. The tree comes from Tuscany, from an area where the felling had already been scheduled.

The lighting of the Christmas tree symbolically gave start to the festive time and to several planned initiatives, including the Elf Post box, also located in Piazza della Libertà. The elves welcome to their wooden house all children who wish to dedicate a drawing, a thought or a request to Santa Claus. Children will drop their letter to Santa Claus in the special post box.

The Elf Post Box, in conformity with the Covid regulations, will be open until Christmas Eve on weekends and holidays in December (on the 8th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 24th) from 4 to 7 pm.

Caviro’s Gifts

Also this year, against a purchase of at least 20 Euro, the shops of the Faenza C’entro circuit will deliver to customers a postcard and a discount card.

The postcard entitles to two gifts, to be collected by February 28th, 2021 at the Caviroteca in via Convertite-Faenza: a bottle of Caviro wine, plus a 500 ml bottle of hand sanitizer – particularly useful these days – produced by Caviro Extra with alcohol of agricultural origin.

The discount card guarantees a 20% discount on the purchase of the Caviroteca wines, until November 30th, 2021. Learn more on the initiative at: FAENZACENTRO.IT.
