ETHYL ALCOHOL OF AGRICULTURAL ORIGIN
We are the market leader in Italy in the production of alcohol. Our formula, exclusively of agricultural origin, responds to the need of all sectors of use, for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. The quality of our 100% biobased alcohol derived from wine is linked to the Caviro Group’s wine supply chain, to which is added alcohol from cereals and sugars.
The ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin that we produce is a key element in the sustainability of our production chain. Obtained through processes to ferment and distill the waste from vinification, our alcohol also complies with the highest standards required by the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food sectors.
Extra Musts and Extracts
MCT AND MCR, MUST AND GRAPE JUICES, GRAPE SEEDS, OENOCYANIN.
Thanks to our wine supply chain, we are able to collect must from grape pressing from our partner cellars. These are products characterized by the territoriality and typical quality of the must produced from wine grapes. From the waste marc we obtain the grape seeds (required by the food and parapharmaceutical industry) and oenocyanin, a natural red food coloring.
NATURAL TARTARIC ACID
Within our factories in Treviso and Faenza, we produce natural tartaric acid derived entirely from the by-products of grape processing. The quality of our natural tartaric acid is the result of an evolution that originated in the 1920s with the opening of the first production site Tartarica Treviso, now incorporated by into Caviro Extra.
